@MediaScotland starts Tweeting #Gaelic

Earlier this week, Media Scotland – a Trinity Mirror Group company, and Scotland’s largest publishing company – began Tweeting in Gaelic as part of a commitment to bring Scottish Gaelic content to Scotland’s growing Gaelic community, and the general public. Last night at the Scottish Gaelic Awards in Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens, the company’s Editor in Chief gave his full backing to the initiative, and this was further supported by their Gaelic columnist for the Daily Record, Torcuil Crichton. Here are the Tweets published to date:

    1. Cha chreid mi gu bheil. Ann an dòigh tha e math a chur na Tuitaichean am measg a’ Bheurla oir bidh ruig (reach) nas motha; ach tha mi a’ tuigsinn cuideachd nach eil e cho math ma bhios tu airson Gàidhlig a-mhàin ann an inbhir RSS/naidheachdan.
